The quadruple room we had was spacious and comfy. It had a unique style that really stood out.
The bed in the double room was cramped with a footboard, which took away from the comfort. There was also a persistent smokiness in the air that detracted from the overall experience. The outdoor area could use a bit of maintenance, which would enhance the charm it offers.

spacious en-suite room, convenient location for Helvellyn, accommodating packed breakfast service
That foot board on the bed. The persistent smokiness throughout did distract from the overall comfort. A little attention needed for the outdoor area!!!
